California Common ushered in the start of the craft beer revolution in the United States and thus of the craft beer revolution in the world. It was Anchor Brewing, the brewery that died by a hair, who was rescued and revived the recipe for California Common. In the sea of limp lager that America was then, this amber beer was welcomed with open arms.

IMPRESSION

The slightly sweet taste of bread and grain in combination with a tuft of pine wood.
